About Sophie Llwellyn

White Owl Counselling was established from my passion to help others find inner peace through their own self-empowerment. Barn owls are my spirit animal. They represent my belief in nature’s healing power, and that everything is connected.

I finished my Counselling Level 4 Diploma in Cambridge, and I am registered with the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). As well as my private practice, I have worked with people in recovery from drugs and alcohol addictions, and currently children at Stop Breath Think Charity.

I believe therapy is for everyone, which is why I offer a supported rate.

in addition to counselling, I have been teaching yoga for over 10 years and work as a rock climbing coach. I specialise in Yoga Therapy, including working one to one with clients suffering from brain trauma and female refugees.

I am an avid wild water swimmer, rock climber and hiker. I spent my formative years scaling the peaks of China’s karst mountains, where my nature connection grew.

Having attended over 40 Buddhist silent nature immersion retreats, I wish to share how healing the natural world can be. I offer a range of nature therapy sessions as well as other counselling styles. From walk and talk in parks, mediation and breath-work.
